Electrical is such a hassle. I parked my truck and two weeks later no spark. I tested the ignition module, pick-up and coil. They were all in within spec. I ran out of daylight so, I quit for a couple days to find I had left the key on. Now, the ignition module is toast. I replaced that part and still no spark. I replaced the pick-up coil in the distributor and left the 22 year old coil. The truck runs like new.
Next time I will order all three components without testing anything. I can not beleive how well the engine runs. I was tempted to get a rebuilt distributor but mine is stuck in the block.
