These will work just as well for a large Group 31 car battery as it will for your ATV so ignore the previous review. What it will never do is jump start a car with a dead battery. It isn't meant for this, it is designed to top off a battery then keep it at it's optimum charge level for long periods of time while never overcharging the battery. This means your car, motorcycle etc. will always have a fully charged battery so you won't need to jump start it in the first place. I bought two, one for my 2 show trucks and a second one for my Harley, now I need another bike to use with the second Tender!
