Pyramid PS15KX 10A 13.8-Volt Power Supply with Cigarette Lighter Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)great 12v power supply!
For those that are looking to run a small to mid range piece of equipment, this baby does the job. I have been using it to power a 50w ham rig, and it works like a champ.
-There are plenty of more expensive ones out there, but whats the point? runs cool and quiet, and is a great price!
-oh, and having both the cig jack as well as power poles(that can accept banana plugs or bare wire) is a great plus

ACDelco AC991 12V Portable Power Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I charged the battery when the product arrived. Then used it to operate a Garmin GPS for several hours. After this one time use the unit's battery would not recharge. Tried recharging with both AC adapter and car power cord. Recharge light did not turn on in either attempt. Then called manufacturer help line. Got the run around speaking with several people, none able to offer technical assistance. Contrary to their warranty statement they will not accept product returns for repair or replacement. Fortunately for me, Amazon has a superb simple-to-use, no-questions-asked, no-postage-cost-to-me return. The manufacturer, according to the product packaging, is Sun-Mate Corp, Canoga Park, CA. Their 800 number is no longer working so I used a direct number to call. I gather they are an importer of cheap made-in-China products and not a the real manufacturer. They have been around for awhile but act and sound like a fly-by-night operation. Amazon lists 16 products from Sun-Mate. Buyers beware.
If it was an option in writing reviews I would give this product zero stars, not one star.
Lesson learned: don't buy products before checking out the company that Amazon buys from.
Suggestion to Amazon: Drop Sun-Mate as a supplier. Also, it would be nice to see the product warranties on your web site so buyers can make a more informed buy decision. In this case the 30-day warranty period would have been a warning to me that this product may not be worth purchase. The warranty on such an item should be at least 90 days, and preferably 1 year.
