ACDelco GF652 Fuel Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This filter worked great on my 2003 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3l even though Amazon says it doesn't!!! It's a Original Equipment (O.E.) filter, so that's another plus in Quality!!! How to I know for sure of the correct filter. I have a Alldata.com subscription for my truck. 5 years was like $[...], so a great deal. I get access to everything I need to know on my truck. How to do things, Hours it'll take to do a job, O.E. Part Numbers and prices, etc.. So I looked up Fuel Filter, and it told me the O.E. part number for the filter is 25171792 looking that up on Google, I find that Number crosses over to the GF652 Filter. From this web site, [...]
Sure enough it fit just fine. Though the filter that was on it was a GF-626! Which was the Original on my truck. I guess there has been a Number change. Just to make sure once again, I checked directly from ACDelco for a fuel filter for my Truck. You can check it out here [...]and then click on Parts Catalog!! Anyway sure enough it also shows the GF652 fuel filter for my truck!!!
It's a filter, what's to say? ACDelco filters are quality filters. Can't go wrong with installing another O.E. filter onto your Car/Truck! Since I changed out the Cooled in my truck for the first time in the 7 years I've had it, the Dex-Cool coolant still looked great. I drained and changed the coolant with a 50/50 blend coolant, so I wouldn't have to use tap water, or have to buy Distilled Water!!! This is how you get coolant to last a long time. Not Contaminating with Tap Water!!! Anyway, Did Coolant change, Oil change, Oil Filter change, Fuel Filter Change and Air filter change. I have about 39,000 miles on my truck. Normal Maintenance type stuff. It's on it's 3rd AC Compressor, so AC system is Good, New belts when that work was done.

ACDelco SK1190 Fuel Tank Sensor Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The part was shipped quickly and also included good installation instructions. AN OEM quality part that fixed the fuel guage problem on my 97 S10 pickup (always read Full) at about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of replacing the complete fuel pump assembly. The worst part of the job is pulling the fuel tank from the vehicle which can be a real pain.
Tip: The kit includes a new O-ring, but not the special large snap-ring retainer that holds the fuel pump module into the tank. The snap-ring on my vehicle was rusted to the point that it needed to be replaced (Minnesota Winters) and cost $15 to get locally. Had I ordered one from Amaazon it would have been about $7 or $8.
Also, be very careful not to let any sand or debris fall into the fuel pump module while you removing it from the tank, so remove the snap-ring and then clean the area well before pulling the fuel pump module free. Upon re-assembly I installed new O-ring into the fuel tank first and then applied a small amount of grease to the O-ring. This allowed the fuel pump unit to slip into place with very little efort.

AC Delco 15-81580 Engine Cooling Thermal Housing Assembly Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this part to replace the factory polycarbonate thermostat housing which was leaking on my 2004 Chevy Aveo. I received the part in THREE DAYS, super fast shipping. This is a high quality, 2-part metal replacement for the factory thermostat housing which is very prone to fail. The item included a new thermostat, so you actually get 3 pieces total, but no gaskets. I purchased two generic thermostat gaskets, one for between the two metal parts, and one for part/engine interface, and trimmed them to fit, and used a small amount of (red) high temperature silicon gasket maker on the surfaces opposite the peel-and-stick sides of the gaskets. The only problem I had was with the old clamp on the radiator hose, which would not squeeze tight enough and was leaking. I replaced it with a regular band clamp and had no further problems. Highly recommend this item to other Aveo owners. Regular polycarbonate housing replacement cost in the neighborhood of $45.00 so you might as well buy this and not have to worry about the plastic part breaking again.

ACDelco 15087886 Radio Antenna Assembly Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Several weeks ago some low down thief decided that instead of buying their own replacement antenna they would just steal mine while I was out dining. Although I have been able to continue using my Griffin iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and Auto Charger for iPod (Black) to play music, I have dearly missed my radio.
I was able to obtain the correct part number for my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and I started calling around for prices. Once I did that I found out that most all of my local parts dealers either didn't have them in stock or they were quoting anywhere from $30 to $45. Now as much as I knew I needed this part, I did not like those prices. Even though I didn't have high hopes I figured it didn't hurt to look on Amazon and there it was selling for at least $5 less than everywhere else, in-stock and shipped for FREE. *Jackpot!*
I received the Antenna tonight and besides a little difficulty removing it from the very securely shrink wrapped packaging, it was easy to install. I appreciate that it came with a small plastic piece that allowed me to torque it down tightly. (Hopefully deterring another theft) I have to say that the part looks exactly like my former antenna and good quality too. I can definitely recommend purchasing this as a replacement for your vehicle. Just make sure to use the part checker Amazon provides if you're not sure whether this will fit your vehicle.

ACDelco 214-1098 Idle Air Control Valve Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This transaction was just what anyone would expect nowadays, instant gratification!
Made shure it fits, double checked and ordered early monday about 2 AM and the local post office recieved it at 8AM the folowing day.
At 11am it was installed and the vehicle cleared all the DTC codes and the SES light on the dashboard by itself.
Every other store, like Napa, autozone, advanceautoparts, quest quote me between $260 and $340 let along the dealer who felt sorry at the counter and said that will give it to me at a discount for $380 plus labor because I have to leave it to be installed with proper calibration.
By the way this IS THE ORIGINAL GM part, instaled at the factory, but after I took mine apart and atempted Trhotle Body cleaning I twisted by mistake the spindle and the white guide that become brittle after 140k just cracked a bit inough to get a litle too much play in the spindle that actuate the pin and make a mess with my engine.
DOES NOT REQUIRE CALIBRATION! this engines built after 2000 and modernized since then continously are controled by a computer that does the job.
So just buy it, plug and turn your engine on, it will self adjust to the vehicles parameters.
I bought this for a 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS, and I'm happy I spent just what shopacdelco charged me, $200 less than my local autoparts store!
Thank you and congratulations on a great business you have there.

ACDelco 215-454 Fuel Pump Assembly Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My vehicle had a "check engine" light and the codes indicated this was the failed part. Well, the check valve was what actually failed, but it allowed moisture to enter, and collect in the pump. The light may have signaled the light, but both parts needed replacing. If you get the same code, replace the pump and the check valve. I was pleased with every part of this order. This was not a cheap immitation part.

ACDelco SK1030 Fuel Level Sensor Review

(More customer reviews)ACDelco SK1030 Fuel Level SensorThis model fits the 2002 Cadillac DeVille,DHS auto. I noticed the fuel guage floating up and down. Quick diagnose at my GM dealer, $175 (dealer cost), save money here, price is excellent since labor cost for me was $185 US dollars plus the "dealer" cost listed above. Manufactured to GM specifications and saves you money. Get it here via Amazon. Don't let your dealer talk you out of installing it, they are hurting for money like everyone else, He will at least want the labor cost!!! Works fine, 100,000 miles before the factory installed fuel level sensor went bad.
