The generic adapter did not charge the Nuvi 1350T. The Nuvi cycled on and off without taking a charge. It turns out that the adapter has different voltage/amp characteristics from the Garmin adapter. Perhaps the seller just sent me the wrong item among their collection of devices.
I contacted the seller (Crazy Digital) directly. They responded promptly and offered a full refund.

Garmin Battery charge with battery Review

Garmin Battery charge with battery
Average Reviews:

Charging systems get no love, but they can make the overall experience of a product much worse if not well designed and executed. This one, thankfully, is well thought out and seems well executed.
The plug/transformer/cord is compact but the interchangeable heads make it useful in a great many places. The output is standard mini-USB, which makes it useful for many other gadgets than just the included charging box to hold the proprietary Garmin battery (like a BlackBerry). It also means the charging box can be used with other mini-USB cords. So you may be able to leave half of this system at home, or use it to replace the charging system for another gadget you already carry. It also seems to be as small and light as one could imagine making it without sacrificing something useful, which is always appreciated by serious travelers.
I've owned and carried mine for over a year with the extra batteries and stuff in an Aerostich fleece bag, with no malfunctions or noticeable ill effects of any sort.

Assembly required. Instructions were just a few sentences and were not enough. The ram mount does not bolt on properly to the main unit. There is not enough space. I had to fasten it with only one bolt that was provided instead of two. It turned out not to be an issue though because one bolt holds it on strong. Yet I don't understand how the mountguys (who make this unit) sell this, knowing both screws don't fasten properly. I also had loosen the hinge and flip it so it traveled vertically instead of horizontally. It seemed this was a rubiks cube problem! You use your own garmin cradle and it attaches to the unit. There is very little space to attach one end of the garmin car charger to the back of the cradle once the cradle is attached to the mount, though it is just enough.
I finally configured it to work on my car vent despite the instructions and flawed assembled parts. It took a lot of time. However, it now works and it's pretty sturdy. I use it for my nuvi 350. I must say I am now pleased with this mount.
One other concern is the heat from the vent hitting the back of the garmin. I e mailed mountguys but they never responded. Garmin says that the temperature of the Nuvi should not exceed 145 F degrees. I measured the climate temperature with a thermometer of the heat coming out of my car vent when set at the highest temperature. It was 145 degrees F. Not good.
To deal with this, I have to turn down the heat or redirect the heat to the floor vents so I don't have to risk too much heat hitting the nuvi. After two weeks I found myself being very aware of the garmin by feeling it to see if it is too hot when using the heat. I had to fiddle with the climate control settings frequently. I tried to direct the louvers to blow the air towards another direction away from the garmin, but because of the mount, you have little room to move the louvers. Finally I stuffed velcro across the vent to block most of the heat. That works. However, when I feel the top of the dashboard directly above that vent, it is about 25% hotter than the other vents. I wonder if blocking the heat backs up the heat, causing heat sump and possible damage to the air channels or wiring underneath the dashboard. Again, I am forced to redirect the hot air to the floor. On a plus side, having the car charger continually plugged into the cradle means that I never have to charge my garmin in my house. This is convenient and might outweigh the inconvenience of fiddling with the climate controls. I think mounting it on the vent allows me to hide the car charger wire more easily, as opposed to if it were mounted on top of the dash or on the windshield with a big black ugly wire hanging down.
I did talk to a Garmin tech about battery replacement and he told me the lithion ion battery will last 2-3 years. A probable $200 estimated charge will be the cost to replace it, said the tech.
Another plus is it is easier to reach out and touch the screen when the nuvi is mounted on the vent. It is just inches away from my right hand.

Innovative and highly practical, this mount uses your existing cradle. A lot of our customers worry about security. The vent is a great location for your GPS. It keeps it within arm's reach and out of site from the bad guys. The mount uses your existing Nuvi cradle. Like the factory mount, we use the round hole in the back of the cradle to attach to our vent mount. The power port can be fully accessed.

Magellan Maestro 3100 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Review

Magellan Maestro 3100 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm a long time TomTom user, and I bought this GPS for my wife because it is small, simple, and inexpensive. We've been very pleased! The SIRF star III GPS chipset is incredible! It was able to lock onto 8 satellites from INDOORS! My TomTom GPS receiver is lucky to find 4 signals in the backyard with a clear sky. The NAVTEQ maps used by Magellan are much more accurate in the U.S. than the outdated TeleAtlas maps in my TomTom. I used both devices to search for 5 random addresses from my address book -- all of which are at least 5 years old. The Magellan found them all flawlessly -- even those with re-mapped zip codes in mid-2006! The TomTom found 1 of the 5, got me close to a second, and didn't have a clue about the street names in the other three. (Incidentally, TomTom won't provide me with a map update because they dropped support for my device, which is only 3 years old!)
The Magellan Maestro 3100 doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that the more expensive devices have, but it does GPS navigation as well as anything I've tried -- and I've tried most of them out there. I didn't buy a GPS to be an MP3 player and a picture viewer -- I already have an iPod for that. Any my car stereo has Bluetooth, so I didn't need hands-free phone capability. Why pay for features if you don't want/need them?
The only disappointment in the 3100 is the Points of Interest database. It only has 750,000 entries, whereas other competing (albeit more expensive) devices have several million. Still, it was able to find gas stations, ATMs, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores -- all the important stuff -- with no trouble. So I can't find campgrounds and beaches -- big deal! I usually don't get a spontaneous urge to go camping while I'm driving around anyway...
A previous reviewer mentioned the SD slot. Currently, it is used only to backup and restore your Address Book, Favorites, etc. Maybe a future firmware release will provide additional functionality...
Other nice features include trip planning with multiple stops; an address book where you can enter custom names, addresses, AND phone numbers; a Favorites list; a dedicated "home" button; detour planning; etc, etc.
There is also a great "where am I?" feature that with a single button push will display your precise location -- street, nearest intersections, lat/long coordinates, etc. This could be very useful if you need to summon emergency help.
All in all, this newly released (April 2007) GPS device should definitely be on your shopping list if you're looking for basic, low cost navigation.

Garmin nüvi 1370/1370T 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth GPS Navigator with Maps of North America & Europe and Lifetime Traffic Review

Garmin nüvi 1370/1370T 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth GPS Navigator with Maps of North America and Europe and Lifetime Traffic

First let me give the bad. Don't ever try to contact Garmin via phone. I waited 45 minutes just to get a live body. Then once I talked to someone he wanted to transfer me to someone else where I would have to wait another 30 minutes. I finally just hung up and sent them an email. The other bad is that Garmin has too many models and too many differences. Some of the nice features on the $200 model are not available on the $450 model. A perfect example is that this 1370t doesn't include route planning, which is ridiculous. Garmin also seems to change their mount every time they bring out a new line. How about just keeping the powered mounts that seem to work so well? I was limited to the 1370t because it was one of the few that had both U.S. and Europe maps.
Now for the good. I had previously been using a Garmin 330 but it had old maps and was huge by today's standards. This 1370T is a nice size, clear screen, and fast calculations. It has some nice features like Ecoroute, Cityxplorer, pedestrian mode, bluetooth, etc. The reason I was calling Garmin was because one of their cityxplorer maps was only downloading to 50%. Hopefully they get that figured out before I have to travel. I'm happy with the UI and everything else worked out well.

Cobra GPSM 2100 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Review

Cobra GPSM 2100 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Went to the store with every intention of purchasing TomTom One or the comparably priced Garmin GPS I had researched online for the past week. Really confusing considering all of GPS reviews I'd read gave no definitive explanations on why one rated over the other. Since it all seemed to come down to personal preference, I figured the only way to make a final decision was to demo each model at the store.
The TomTom One would not work! Each time I started to enter an address, the unit would revert back to demo ads. The Garmin model I was interested in was not on display. The sales clerk was kind enough to turn on the TomTom go to demo, but it annoyingly shifted between a loud demo and attempting to pick up a signal. If not for this, I would have overlooked the Cobra 2100 entirely.
What first caught my attention was price. Having failed to demo the units I wanted, the Cobra 2100 was the only GPS on display within my price range. In fact, it was the same price as TomTom One, but appeared to be larger. Side by side comparison made TomTom One look like a toy! I clicked through the various demo options and watched a simulation of a drive from the store to my home. Fine, yet I still had my heart set on the TomTom and was about to find another store to demo the model, but I changed my mind.
Though never owning any Cobra products, I'm aware that Cobra was a big name in radar detection at one time. In addition to GPS navigation, the Cobra 2100 comes with traffic light camera detection and speed alerts already installed. There are more traffic light cameras being installed throughout Baltimore City everyday. This feature and the Cobra name convinced me to give the 2100 a try.
Had the 2100 installed and operating in no top flat. As mentioned elsewhere online, it took more time to get it out of the box than it took to connect it. Once turned on it quickly detected a signal and showed me my present location. After quickly scanning through the menu, I typed in my home address, clicked 'NAVIGATE' and was routed to my destination.
The Cobra 2100 offers a clear visual presentation of the route you're traveling while giving clear and precise verbal directions of how to proceed. Advisories are given continually and well in advance of any turns or deviations from your present course. There is no text-to-speech, though IMHO, none is needed as a quick glance identifies all streets along your route.
Options are given to choose specific routes, but I ignored this on my initial run. The Cobra 2100 (like MapQuest, sometimes) attempted to route me away from what I knew to be a quicker route. Upon ignoring the route suggested, the Cobra 2100 quickly recalculated, suggesting a route based on my adjustment. I followed the same route later, this time taking the route suggested by the Cobra 2100. Cobra added an additional 10 minutes to my journey by unnecessarily routing me on and off the interstate. The "detour" consisted of a series of rapid lane changes and turns. As it was night and the maneuvers demanded I pay strict attention to driving, I didn't chance glancing at the screen. To it's credit, the Cobra 2100 provided precise verbal navigation so there was no need to watch anything but the road. I find I'm not particularly concerned about Cobra's routing suggestion. Had I been unfamiliar with the area, the additional 10 minutes would not be factor at all since the Cobra 2100 WILL, it demonstrates, get me to your destination safely.
Oh...before I forget...I passed through one of those camera intersections while testing the Cobra. It signals the driver by producing a series of camera clicking sounds and displays an on-screen traffic icon as an advisory.
WAY COOL!

Also accompanying you on the ride are more than two million points of interest which are searchable by business phone numbers, trip data functions such as an odometer, speedometer, and trip timer, and a trip planner that lets you pre-program up to 10 destinations per plan, for up to five total plans. This unit even includes a trail mode so you can go off off-roading and mark your favorite waypoints for future return.
For your convenience, this GPS system includes English, Spanish, and French navigational voice languages and an automatic shutoff system that preserves battery power. Garmin nüvi 650 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Review

Garmin nüvi 650 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have have a been a long time Garmin GPS customer including three generations of the Streetpilot. I am very pleased with the Nuvi 650 echoing some of the praises you've read here in the reviews.
However for those of who are on the fence about getting the 650 versus the 660 for the extra Bluetooth, FM transmitter and traffic receiver, I want to offer you some more reasons to consider the 660. The Nuvi 650 does not include the leather carrying case, AC adapter and printed manual which comes standard with the 660 packaging ($50 value).
As a an old time Garmin user, I am used to having these items come with my GPS. In addition, the Nuvis do not include CD/DVD map software nor the friction mount (must buy separately esp. for California and Minnesota). Considering how easy it is now for users to access the memory space of the Nuvi from their computers, it's much easier to corrupt the system unintentially. Thats when you'll need the original map software to recover.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the Nuvi 650 over my Streetpilot 2720 for it's size, improve user interface and the SirF Star III receiver for much more reliable GPS reception. But I can only give this product 4 stars because of the lack of accessories that I find essential for my usage and yet comes standard for the Nuvi 660, 670 and 680.

I made a bracket to mount the power socket under the dash in my Tracker boat. The unit comes with plenty of wire and works great as a source to plug in my hand held spotlight. This product did not charge my Magellan GPS. It works with TomTom, as I learned at Circuit City, but not with Magellan. I ended up buying another power cord from Circuit City (actually a Garmin cord because they did not have any Magellan cords). Was a hassle.

Nextar X3-03 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Review

Nextar X3-03 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Nextar x3-03 is probably the best buy out there because it does include an a/c and d/c adapter and a cover along with free map upgrades when available - so they claim. The ac adapter is a benefit for outside sales people (real estate agents) so that you can program all your stops before hand. I recently purchase the tomtom and navignon and found them to be very useless especially the navignon because of the voice directions. It gave me about 5 steps when entering and leaving a ramp from the highway and I felt it would be really confusing if I did not know where I was. In addition to that, the navignon for some reason was trying to reroute me down streets I already knew they were dead ends. I return the tomtom and navignon back to staples and kept my Nextar.
The beauty of the nextar is in its simplicity. The prompts are at the right time without added conversation! It is very easy to select your your next location within seconds while at a traffic light - or rather I should say parked in a safe location. Entering address information was much easier than the others because of the simple predictive text which looks up streets as you are typing them in like Pac for pacific - the navigon would pull up wolfpack once you starting typing and that to me was no useful.
If you need a tool, the nextar is it, if you need a toy and graphics and more of what you don't need and less of what you really need, then I would certainly go back and purchase the tomtom and navigon. The sound and graphics are pretty cool.
The downside, I do not believe there is any quality control and be prepared to send a unit or two back. I originally purchased mine at Kmart which has a very good return policy, problem was, their inventory is light and they have been out of them for 6 weeks. So now I have purchased from Amazon because their exchage policy is just as easy.
Be aware that the battery does not last overnight as I believe the unit is always in standby mode even when you thought it was off.
Nextar is very up front about their problems and issues which you can read about in the support section [...]
I hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision. Best bet is to buy all 4 brands from a place you know they can be returned and try them all out for a day to see which one fits your needs.

TomTom ONE XL-S 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator Review

TomTom ONE XL-S 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have this and used side by side with a Garmin 200 W for several weeks before returning the Garmin. Overall this is a good product but a few annoying bugs keep it from being great...here are the pros and cons
Pros
It finds the satellites quickly and keeps the signal. The garmin took 2-3 minutes almost every time from a power up start (this was the deal killer)
The user interface is nicer and has a lot more options than the garmin.
The POI database (such as the POI categories it actually has - it is missing several major US retail chains - see below) is more up to date than the Garmin I bought at same time.
Allows you to set the keyboard to QWERTY mode which the Garmin did not.cons
The graphics are a bit grainy compared to the garmin
The bluetooth is useless, works only for data transmission/reception and that too with very limited number of phones. No, you cannot use it as a handsfree.
If you take a wrong turn or pass by your destination or do anything to pass by your destination on a 2 lane road, it will not tell you to turn around - it will navigate you through the next set of intersections. In rural areas this can mean a 20 mile trip instead of going back 200 yards.
The text to speech works very unpredictably - it pronounces some name very nicely but mangles others horribly such that you can't recogonize it.
Also it announces street names about a quarter mile before and then simply says turn left or right when you are actually at an intersection and want the street name to turn into. This is annoying. Very annoying.
There is an SD card slot. However the unit works either exclusively with the SD card slot or with the internal memory. Which means that you have to reload everything in internal memory onto the SD card which takes about an hour because of the incredibly s-l-o-w data transfer rates.
Also the internal memory is pretty much full so forget about any upgrades unless you spring for at least a 2 GB or more SD card
Strangely, TomTom doesn't know about major US retail chains like Toys R Us, Payless Shoes etc. This even after I updated the unit with the US Retail POI database file
The color schemes available on the unit and online are completely weird. Seems to have been done by people with zero taste and sensiblity.
The internal battery is useless in cold weather (i.e. if you leave the unit in the car in winter). This after a few weeks. It either dies in a few minutes or doesn't fire up at all. Will have to see how it performs in the summer.
The brightness and contrast are so-so in daylight compared to the garmin 200 w

The TomTom ONE XL is a complete portable GPS vehicle navigation device with an incredible range of features. While it does not have the same array of luxury features as TomTom's GO 720 or GO 920 line, the ONE XL-S offers all the features you need in a solid navigation system (see a feature comparison for all of TomTom's GO and ONE devices).
What's New -- Text To Speech The ONE XL-S has all the features of the ONE XL, but also adds text-to speech, which allows the device to give spoken directions with real street names.

Map Coverage Like TomTom's other navigators, the ONE XL-S comes pre-loaded with complete maps for all fifty of the United States, as well as Canada, based on TeleAtlas map data and all stored on 1 GB of internal memory

See More But it's not just the broad geographical coverage that makes the TomTom ONE XL-S special. The user-friendly design also puts it a step above other navigation systems. The crystal-clear multicolor display makes for exceptionally easy viewing of maps, routes, driving directions, and other traveling information, such as mileage and distance. Measuring 4.3 inches, the TFT display offers an expanded widescreen view of brilliant two- and three-dimensional graphics.

The device also features 32 MB RAM and 266 MHz CPU, making it responsive and zippy. Using the USB port and the provided cable, you can use your PC to add your own points of interest. Memory expansion is made possible by an SD card slot.

The ONE XL-S provides clear and accurate turn-by-turn voice instructions, so that you don't have to take your eyes off the road while your vehicle is on the move. Voice instructions are issued at a speed-sensitive volume, so as your vehicle's engine becomes louder or quieter as your speed changes, the volume adjusts itself accordingly, guaranteeing clear and easy listening. And because voice instructions are available in over 30 languages, just about anyone will find the TomTom ONE XL-S to be an invaluable system.

With its touch-sensitive screen, the TomTom ONE XL-S puts programming and operation literally at your fingertips to make sophisticated technology simple. The built-in database offers thousands of points of interest for you to use as destinations or reference points as you plan your trip. The ONE XL-S will also provide a selection of available routes, giving you the option of avoiding toll roads or choosing between the quickest or the most scenic routes. The database includes zip codes to simplify your route selection, and for extra convenience, the ONE XL-S lets you save the addresses of frequent destinations, making route planning easier and faster than ever. Other display features include a compass mode to assist you with directional orientation, and an anti-glare screen for optimal viewing even in direct sunlight.

For additional navigational features to assist with trip planning, the built-in Bluetooth connection provides access to TomTom PLUS subscription-based services, so that you can tune in to the latest traffic and weather conditions, as well as download additional city maps, voices, points of interest, and much more. The ONE XL-S adds to these capabilities with FM radio-based RDS-TMC traffic information as an available accessory (not included).

Weighing less than 10 ounces and measuring 3.4 x 4.7 x 1.2 inches, the TomTom ONE XL-S can be easily installed in any vehicle. An included windshield suction mount holds it in place. Plus, with an operating temperature range of an icy -10 degrees to a sweltering 55 degrees Celsius (14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit), the navigator is durable enough for New England winters or Arizona summers. The TomTom ONE XL-S is powered by an internal lithium ion battery that can be charged from your vehicle's cigarette lighter with the included 12-24V adapter.

I ordered these to put into a second vehicle, and to charge my new GPS from wall outlets. Neither the car charger nor the wall charger would charge the GPS. The GPS reacted to being plugged in as if it were plugged into a USB cable to a computer, or cycled through an attempt to open maps.

Garmin nüvi 260 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Review

Garmin nüvi 260 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Nuvi 260 is a Nuvi 250 with the addition of text-to-speech (speaks actual names). Other than the text-to-speech (TTS) feature, the units are identical in appearance and operation.
Why did I buy this?
1)Many GPS models have features not needed for navigating (such as an MP3 player or Bluetooth). The 260 only has what I really think is necessary in a portable GPS. It's sleek (fits comfortably in your pocket), easily transportable, has preloaded maps with a tremendous database, and a fast processor which calculates and recalculates routes in seconds. Eliminating unnecessary features reduces the cost, plus makes it easier to use.
2)The touchscreen interface in the Nuvi 260 is so intuitive, many people can skip the short instruction book altogether. Ten minutes of just "playing around with the unit" after taking it out of the box is all you will need to be navigating. That's the mark of a great design.
3)Unlike the flip-up antenna found in Garmin's 300 series, the 200 series has an internal antenna...a big plus. (One less thing to break.) In addition, the screen in the 200 series units is significantly brighter and sharper than Garmin's older 300 series.
4)Speaking street names is a tremendous asset. Units that don't have TTS only say "In 500 feet exit right". That forces you to glance at the screen to see what street/exit/etc you need to navigate to. A unit with TTS says " In 500 feet take exit 52, on right, to Route 80 West". You keep your eyes on the road with this feature. So besides the convenience, TTS is a safety feature that is worth the extra dollars.
What do I dislike about the Nuvi 260?
1)I am not a fan of the windshield suction mount. In many reviews people have said that the mount is not reliable in the long term. It randomly falls off (this happened to me a few times). On a hot day the suction cup can soften and is reluctant to come off at all, or it leaves a telltale ring on the windshield. That's not good. (As an aside, there has been a significant increase in the thefts of portable GPS devices from cars...even when the devices were not in plain view. Police have stated that thieves assumed there was a GPS unit hidden in the car if a residual ring from the suction cup was seen on the windshield.) Save yourself from the inevitable and buy the beanbag dash mount.
2) The information in the database and maps can be a few years old. This problem is seen in ALL brands of GPS units, not just Garmin. There are millions of points of interest and roads to keep track of. It changes by the day. By the time the final product makes it to market, some of it is already outdated. But, for over 99% of the time, it is correct and it finds what I looking for. Until the manufacturers figure out a way to update their databases and maps in real time, this is what we have.
Once you think about what the really important features are in a portable GPS unit, you will realize that the Garmin Nuvi 260 is a wise choice.

Garmin's nuvi 260 combines the thinprofile and attractive price point of other nuvi 200-series GPS with directions in real street names. As with all nuvis, you get Garmin reliability, the fast satellite lock of a high-sensitivity integrated receiver, a slim, pocket-sized navigator with a gorgeous display, detailed NAVTEQ maps that lets you search by name for more than 6 million points of interest like stores, restaurants or hospitals, and an easy, intuitive interface. Which nuvi is Best for You?: Click here to see a quick, simple comparison of features for all Garmin nuvi GPS navigators. Text-To-Speech The text-to-speech feature of the nuvi 260 means that device automatically calls out street names (saying "turn right on Main Street" instead of "turn right in 200 feet."). This feature lets drivers keep their eyes on the road while navigating through busy traffic and tricky roadways.
Smart, Powerful Design The nuvi 260W is built with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for extreme accuracy, as well as an SD card slot for storing your media and additional navigation tools, and a USB interface for loading data. All this is wrapped up in a package that measures 4.8 x 2.9 x 0.8 inches (W x H x D) and weighs just 6.6 ounces. The nuvi display is touchscreen-enabled, making it a cinch to control the device with your fingertips. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to five hours of battery life depending on use.

Garmin Lock Garmin's patent pending theft prevention system that disables the unit from performing any functions until the user types in a specific 4-digit PIN or takes the unit to a predetermined secure location

Navigate with Ease The nuvi 260 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator NT street maps, including a hefty POI database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nuvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, the nuvi 260 accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

Important note about map updates: Due to our high volume of sales, almost every Garmin portable GPS navigator sold by Amazon.com will come with the most recent map version. If you ever do need a map update, you can purchase one from Amazon.com at our Garmin Store.

Easy To Use Interface Garmin's interface is a key to their success and one of the things that makes their devices such a pleasure to use. Simple controls and sub-screens make it easy to enter or search for destinations and get data about your trip.

NEW AC WALL CHARGER FOR GARMIN NUVI 200w 250 255 260W Review

NEW AC WALL CHARGER FOR GARMIN NUVI 200w 250 255 260W
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Purchased Garmin nuvi 260W GPS, this product was listed under 'Frequently Bought Together' items. It was inexpensive, in fact, shipping was more than the item itself. I purchased the AC wall charger and when I received my GPS I attempted to use it to initially charge the GPS. Not only would the Garmin NOT charge, it functioned like it kept getting reset, like it was caught in a loop. Once I placed the Garmin inside my vehicle with the car charger it worked exactly like it should have, so I know the problem was the AC charger. The AC charger price was not worth going thru the expense or hassle or returning it, so I threw it in the trash. Hopefully this review will save others a couple of bucks.
